At a Glance

Eli is still a sports NUT.  He carries paraphernalia everywhere we go.  Tennis rackets to the grocery store, basketballs to Target, baseball gloves to bed.

He has freckles popping out all over his nose and cheeks. Cute!

He eats less vegetables everyday.

He is super vocal, and has a huge vocabulary.

He loves to say "Watch this!" and then do something completely random and weird when we look.  Typical boy.

He is always trying to jump higher, run faster, and throw harder.

When Daddy mows the grass, he pulls out his toy mower and mows alongside him.  Also cute.

He has awesome beach hair. It just curls right up the moment the salt-air hits it.

He prefers digging in the sand to water that moves (aka attacks).  Stagnant water such as pools and puddles are just fine, however.

He touches everything and wants to pet every bug or creature he sees.  Including snakes.

Because of him, I have picked up a tree frog, rolypolys, a beetle, earthworms, and several caterpillars in the past week.  I had to draw the line at the millipede. Ick.

He has been to two UNC baseball games, and absolutely loved them.

He recognizes a couple of letters and numbers now.

He counts well.

He prefers the great outdoors to the tv.

He never finishes his dessert, so his sister and I are always staring in wait, ready to pounce on his leftovers.

He hates when I wear my glasses, and yells in a panicked voice "No glasses, Mommy! No glasses!"

He loves hamburgers, and eats every bite when he gets one.

He loves to say "I'm not a burger, I'm a boy, leave me alone!" from the book Burger Boy.

He has the sweetest prayers at night and at the table.

He truly loves his sister, and equally enjoys playing with her beating her up.
